What is Holding Space Practice?


Holding Space is the quiet place in life where internal transformations happen. It is the space between where you have been and where you are going.


A Holding Space Practice is NOT perfection. It is not passive ease. It is not avoiding challenges, mistakes or conflict.

Holding Space is...

  • Honoring individual without judgment--first self, then family, then others
  • Suspending anxiety over expected outcomes
  • Accepting "now" as it is without undue regret of the past or control of the future
  • Allowing self and others to choose as we avoid inappropriate pressure, collusion, manipulation and/or exploitation.
